What marks out the A25 is the gold appliqué: tapered metallic flames that rise from the waist and sweep up across the chest of the velvet bodice, several of the points reaching onto the sheer mesh yoke above. Here the velvet is bordo. A curved mesh inset opens at the side of the waist, framed by a second, smaller run of gold flames, and the mesh carries on into long sleeves closed with gold cuffs.
