Description
The Jackson Ultima Excel is a white recreational figure skate for women, girls and tots — the entry model of Jackson’s Ascend Series. Its support ratings, 5 on the women’s JS1290 and 2 on the girls’ JS1291 and tots’ JS1294, are the lightest in Jackson’s range, so it suits first lessons, learn-to-skate classes and recreational skating. The Ultima Mark II blade comes factory sharpened and mounted.

Jackson Ultima Excel JS1290: women’s 4–10, full and half sizes. JS1291: girls’ 11–3½, full and half sizes. JS1294: tots’ 8, 9 and 10, full sizes only. All in Jackson’s C width — the medium fitting on Jackson’s A (narrow) to D (wide) scale, measured around the ball of the foot.
Skate sizes are not shoe sizes: measure foot length from heel to longest toe and compare with our Jackson Ultima sizing chart — about 22.0–26.9 cm (8 5/8–10 9/16 in) for women’s 4–10, 17.0–21.6 cm (6 11/16–8 1/2 in) for girls’ 11–3½ and 14.7–16.2 cm (5 3/4–6 3/8 in) for tots’ 8–10. Between sizes choose the larger, never one shorter than your longest foot, and give children a little room to grow. If you can, have the fit checked by a qualified skate fitter.
