Description
The Softec Elite ST7202 is the men’s cut of Jackson’s Softec Elite: a black microfiber boot insulated with Thinsulate behind a non-abrasive fabric lining, on a lightweight, waterproof Fusion sole under an Ultima Mark II figure blade. Jackson places it in Medium Recreational Support, for coaches and advanced recreational skaters.
Support level
Jackson puts the whole Softec range in its Medium Recreational Support tier and publishes no number for it, so it sits alongside the 2–90 scale, not at the bottom. Key details
- Upper: napped microfiber in black, which Jackson calls light, flexible and strong. Topstitched panels, a reinforced toe wrap, “Elite by Jackson” on the tongue and a round metal Softec badge on the outside quarter.
- Lining: a non-abrasive fabric lining with Thinsulate insulation over soft padding, showing as a light gray knit around the rolled collar and down the padded tongue.
- Fit: Jackson’s Adapted Width C last gives a wider arch fit. C and M are the same width on Jackson’s chart, which is why the size menu reads Width: M.
- Closure: four pairs of open lace hooks each side over a full row of lace holes, with black-and-white speckled laces.
- Sole: the Fusion sole, lightweight and waterproof, with a black tread face carrying repeated Jackson triangles and a black heel with an oval metal Jackson badge.
- Blade: an Ultima Mark II figure blade, etched with the Mark II name and the Ultima mark, screwed to metal toe and heel plates and sharpened at the factory. Its full toe pick suits toe-assisted stops.
Which Softec — and which Elite?

Fit and sizing
The ST7202 runs whole sizes 4 to 12 in one width, M, and the size menu shows what is in stock. The menu’s Adult 4 to Adult 12 are Jackson’s men’s sizes; the women’s equivalent runs a size and a half higher, so the table carries both. Skate sizes are not shoe sizes: measure heel to toe in your skating socks and use the longer foot. Width counts as much as length — ball girth is the circumference around the widest part of your foot. If yours runs well above the M figure for your length, this single-width boot will feel tight across the ball. Between two lengths, take the larger.
