Description
The Jackson Finesse JS150 is a traditional white lace-up figure skate for first lessons and public rink sessions. It is sold here as three model numbers split by size — JS154 in toddler 8–10, JS151 in youth 11–13 and 1–3, JS150 in adult 4–10 — all the same boot, with a chrome insert set into each heel and an Ultima Mark I blade sharpened at the factory.
Jackson describes the JS150 as a light-support boot for beginners and recreational skaters: soft enough to let the ankle bend while a skater learns, rather than a stiff boot built for jumps. Key details
- Upper: reinforced vinyl-coated upper in a traditional figure-boot pattern, with a leaf-shaped chrome insert stitched into the back of each heel counter.
- Lining and tongue: padded synthetic lining, soft and white down the lace gusset and around a rolled topline, with a padded felt tongue embossed with the Jackson triangle and the number 150.
- Closure: a full row of reinforced eyelets topped by chrome speed hooks, so the ankle can be tensioned separately from the foot.
- Outsole: sculpted PVC in white and grey that needs no maintenance.
- Blade: Ultima Mark I stainless steel figure blade with a toe pick, etched MARK I and sharpened at the factory, so the skates can go straight into a learn-to-skate program.
- Break-in: the JS series cannot be heat molded, so the boot breaks in by wearing — lace a little looser for the first few sessions.
Finesse JS150, Finesse JS450 or SoftSkate JS180?

Fit and sizing
Full sizes only, in one width: Jackson publishes it as M and the size menu here labels the same fitting C. Skate sizes are not shoe sizes — measure in the socks you skate in and use the longer foot. Lengths are in inches with cm in brackets; the girth column is the circumference around the ball of the foot, and Jackson builds the heel one width narrower than the ball. Jackson publishes no ball girth for the toddler sizes. All sixteen sizes are made as an unbroken run from toddler 8 to adult 10; the size menu shows which are available now.
