Description
The Classic SoftSkate 380 is the padded, fleece-lined boot in Jackson Ultima’s Classic line, and this is the White/Purple version — a white vinyl boot with a lilac fleece collar and the purple SoftSkate logo on the quarter. Jackson rates it Medium Recreational Support, the level it names for beginners and skaters commencing lessons, and it arrives complete with the blade already fitted and sharpened.
What sets it apart from the rest of the Classic range is the padding: a thick rolled collar and a covered padded tongue make the boot warm and forgiving from the first try-on. The trade is stiffness — it holds the ankle for public sessions and learn-to-skate, not for jumps. Fit and sizing
Two model numbers cover this color: JC380 in women’s 4–10 and JC381 in kids’ 11–3, full sizes only, in one width — medium (M), the width Jackson states across the Classic range. Tots’ 8–10 are a third model, the JC384, stocked in the white/fleece and pink versions rather than this one.
Skate sizes are not shoe sizes. Measure heel to longest toe for length and around the ball of the foot for girth, then read both columns below. Only one width is sold here, so a foot well outside the M girth needs a Jackson family with more width options. Between two lengths take the larger. Jackson cuts its heels one width narrower than the ball measurement, so an M boot sits on a narrower heel. A new pair feels firm at first; leaving the top hooks unlaced for the first few outings helps it settle.
